    Great...

Out of the new generation Microtechs; I own a Combat Troodon, Hera II, Hera Mini, and Cypher. The Cypher has the easiest blade shape to maintain sharpness (imo) and allows me to sharpen on my own without fear of ruining the finish compared to the d/e OTFs. Size is similar to the original Hera. However, keep in mind that the Cypher does have a spring creeping noise when using the switch. There seems to be extra room between the switch and handle, causing the spring between to creep. You can remove the spring but then it'll rattle a lot more.

Typically I EDC the combat troodon, or the ultratech less often. The Cypher II is perfect size right in between. The style is amazing, no screws, and the new firing mechanisms is so much better than the prior combat troodons, so much easier, it feels like it’s on ball bearings in both directions. The Cypher II is PERFECT in all aspects. This is my new favorite due to both style and action.

    Amazing otf !!

First of all, Eknives is a great company to deal with. I have ordered multiple knives from them and received great customer service. On this order I initially ordered the wrong finish after hours, I emailed first thing the next morning, my order was corrected within minutes with confirmation, and I received my knife the next day! Will definitely keep buying from Eknives!! The new Cypher II is by far my favorite otf I own currently! The design is very ergonomic, not bulky, smooth action, and I have been waiting to purchase my next otf for the perfect blade shape. I love wharncliffe style blades and not a huge fan of the dagger style blades. I also have not been a huge fan of the Microtech pocket clip design that gets easily snagged. I love this knife so much I also want 2 so I can carry 1 and keep 1 in the safe!!
