The Hera is my new favorite I think. The new button feels so much nicer. The edges on the handle, I wish they chamfered them a bit but overall I’m super happy with the Hera

I could not be happier with this knife. This is my 8th microtech knife and Like usual they hit this one out of the park! But even more so Eknives is on point with their prompt service. This was my second Microtech. I have the Ultratech as well. What I really like about the Hera is the clip and lack of “glass breaker” tip and lanyard hole. While they may serve a purpose at some point to someone, for me they just tore up pockets. This Hera goes smoothly into and out of pockets. You don’t catch your hand on the knife every time you reach in and out of your pocket. The action is just as quick, smooth and strong as my Ultratech. This knife was more than a hundred dollars higher than my Ultratech. Not sure why other than it being a new model for 2021. Fits my hand well and no uncomfortable ridges or points that effect the grip. Overall I’m happy with the knife.

I write this review not having actually inspected the knife yet--I'm waiting to open it as i received it as a gift. That said, I have held this same knife, in a different finish, belonging to my friend and was very impressed with the quality, fit and feel of it in my hand. Mechanism appears to be very robust. I will add that EKnives are very easy to work with. They are great to work with and very responsive. I have nothing bad to say.

Feels great in the hand. Reliable action always smooth. Great new design. Like the Troodon is evolving into the next generation.
