The new LUDT looks and feels familiar while incorporating quite a few innovative changes. This iteration of Microtech's powerful automatic folder sees the return of inlays, providing optimal grip. The new LUDT rides on 24 silica carbide bearings, providing the smoothest action yet. Common Torx screws allow for ease of maintenance and the tip-up carry clip gives users security and quick access to this sturdy, water-resistant folder.

GEN III...
This was my second LUDT I owned a OD green model I passed on a few months back and when I seen these I had to pick one up! The differences and ergos definitely warrant giving the LUDT a second chance! This was my first time ordering from Eknives and the shipping was far and above most other retailers! Eknives and NC blade are going to be my only go to for knife purchases here on out!

New Gen Microtech LUDT does not disappoint!
If you love the older LUDT, this one will blow you away. All the improvements they made, no matter how small, all make a difference and improve the overall comfort of the well known LUDT. Pair that with the outstanding service and selection that is EKnives and you have a winning combination every time.

Great Upgrade!
I have the previous model LUDT and love that knife as well. Nothing is lost on this new version. Hits hard and was extremely sharp out of the box. I love the looks of the new blade shape and the grip tape inlay adds a more tactile feel in the hand. This new model feels more secure in my hand. Very comfortable knife!

I was not a fan of the looks of the old LUDT, but I really liked new 2024 version’s looks. Once in hand I realized why the LUDT was popular. It feels great in the hand, the auto action fires hard and I love the geometry and shape of the blade and handle. The only downside is the pocket clip gripes a little too tight against the inlaid grip tape. It certainly won’t come out of the pocket if that is a requirement for you. Not a deal breaker for me. Overall, a home run by Microtech!
