The Microtech Troodon OTF (out the front) automatic knife is named after the Troodon (Troh-O-Don) Dinosaur and features a double edge with a black finish. The dagger style 3" blade can also be manually operated with a thumb slide located on the handle. The Microtech Troodon, Black T6 aluminum handle measures 4.25" and is a slim fit that works well in the hand. It features a glass breaker end and includes a pocket clip. The Troodon fires hard and delivers the kind of performance you would expect from a Microtech Knives creation. An excellent tactical knife choice for those wanting reliability and field capability.

    Probably the best feeling OTF I own. Pocket clip style has great retention. I just wish they made a Troodon with a length of the Ultratech. I wish they made a Dirac that length too.

    Perfect EDC size

    The troodon is the perfect edc size! This particular troodon needed a break in period and relubricating the spring but after I did that everything was good. Nothing against eknives, that was a factory issue. Either way it was fine with me. Customer service is always great and I will return for more!

    This is by far the best knife I have ever owned, I will be sticking to microtech knifes from now on. The black blade is awesome, the knife itself opens very fast and close fast as well it feels very well built and solid. There is no play in the blade when it is out. I would highly recommend this knife to everyone looking for the perfect very day carry.

    1st off ordering was easy, shipping was extremely fast, Customer Service from EKnives Outstanding. The Microtech Troodon is a great knife, sits deep enough in my pocket. Being my 1st OTF I find the knife deploys quickly and easily retracts, deployment and retract is firm enough so that I don't believe I would have an accidental deployment in my pocket. The quality and finish of this knife is superb
