The Microtech Troodon OTF (out the front) automatic knife is named after the Troodon (Troh O Don) Dinosaur. At 25% smaller than the Combat Troodon, the Troodon features a slender design and easier-to-fire action mechanism. The design caters to a wider audience needing the utilitarian functionality of an OTF, but without the heft of a full-size Combat Troodon.

Husband loved getting the knife but the color on the image is blue and not black
This knife my husband loved and wanted for a little while. Unfortunately, I thought I was getting him the Blue color knife based on the photo. I was very excited till he opened it and it was black. He still loved getting it as a gift. I should have paid better attention to the details I guess. Just know this knife is black and not the blue like it appears in the picture.
