First Ultratech
After much research I jumped into the Ultratech pond. Initial thoughts are that I’m impressed with the action and quality of the build. Lacking satisfaction in the factory edge. I’m actually surprised by the lack of the edge. I’m hoping that with some work I’ll be able to get the edge that is expected.

The Gold Standard OTF
I own this exact knife and just purchased this one to gift to my best friend. It will be his 1st Microtech. What better knife to introduce him to the Microtech brand than the gold standard of OTF knives. Just like mine, the new one fires crisply, is exceedingly sharp and is finished flawlessly. As always, the purchase experience with EKnives was awesome.

Gteat but..
I love the Ultratech OTF. But a few things concern me. First the drop edge wasn't as sharp as the straight edge. Ended up a quick run across the ceramic sharpener fixed that. The other, more pressing issue is twice when I retracted the blade, while it went in, it was not latched and stuck out about 1/2 inch. I got cut the first time. The second time, I noticed it. It's possible lint is in it, but I only had it a few days. It's seems OK now, but I'm keeping a close eye on it. That said, great knife. I would buy it again.

Sexy Knife
This is knife is sleek and very aesthetically pleasing! The trigger feels nice and stiff. My stepside UTX85 is much looser. The all black is sexy and sleek. I love this knife. As always the shipping speeds and customer service from Eknives is top notch.
