Who said size doesn't matter? The Microtech UTX-70 is one of the smallest OTF (out the front) automatics on the market. At 70% the size of the Ultratech, Microtech's first ever OTF knife, the UTX-70 has the same simplistic design and internal spring makeup. The spring remains "at rest" until the blade is deployed ensuring it fires effectively every time. The black anodized aluminum handle measures just over 3 inches long and features blasted hardware, pocket clip and auto firing slide switch on the side. The slide switch deploys and retracts the OTF rapidly with one push making it a perfect EDC OTF knife. The Microtech UTX-70 OTF auto features a 2.4" Tanto blade with a stonewash finish. The UTX 70 auto is perfect sized for the hand and pocket.

Microtech UTX-70 OTF Automatic Knife Black 2.4"...
Great EDC Pocket Carry - had an issue after about 12 cycles, but customer service walked me through some PM which worked great & no issues since. Yes, it's about the knife, but the follow up service makes the experience ! Highly recommend !

MicroTech UTX-70 Tanto
Great knife, I needed a pocket knife that I can easily open & operate with one hand, this knife fits the bill perfectly. I did have an issue of the blade not retracting after about a dozen cycles, but one call to customer service & they walked me through a cleaning & maintenance procedure that corrected the issue. No issues since and I would absolutely recommend the UTX-70 if you're looking for an EDC pocket OTC.

If a small OTF is what you are looking for
Then this is it. Smooth operation, fits in the pocket well, very sharp, excellent build quality. For me, it is the world's most expensive letter opener. That being said I don't carry it. Just too small.
