Great Little...
Knife needed to be oiled as it had been sitting on the shelf for a while (most likely). Otherwise great little edc gadget. Love michrotech and this is a great entry to the microtech world.

Great Value Great Knife
I was really happy to see this knife available for $250. I have been searching for OTFs for months and through all of my research I found this to be the best value proposition. A micro tech at $250 really is about as good of a value that you are going to get. Initially had some issues with the action being stiff, but after applying some gun oil it now works properly. Would give 5 stars but the shelf fatigue and having to oil myself knocks it down a notch. Nevertheless great product and great value.

Got exactly what I wanted. Knife is super sharp! Action is fast and responsive. Fast shipping, accurate updates. This was my first “high end” knife purchase and will not be my last. Microtech UTX-85
This was my first purchase with EKnives and my first Microtech purchase as well. The purchase experience with Eknives was outstanding. They were responsive to e-mails and shipping was fast. Eknives gets 5-stars. I will definitely do business here again. The Microtech OTF (UTX-85) however was disappointing. Action is very stiff. It did loosen up a bit, but still stiffer than it should be. As a result, it is definitely not a fidget knife. In addition, the knife is probably the dullest, out of the box knife I have ever received. And I have a lot of knives. I have $30 knives that put the sharpness of the Microtech to shame. This is unacceptable for an expensive, so-called High quality knife. It would have difficulty cutting through butter (a slight exaggeration but not too much). All in all, very happy with Eknives and disappointed with Microtech
