Great...
I purchased an OTF knife which seemed to have limited availability but they had it in stock so I was sold. But I’ll tell you when my knife arrived really fast with some candy and and a hand written note I was really impressed. Oh I almost forgot they gave me a killer discount on my first order too!!!!

Slender design is the...
This is a replacement for a Microtech UTX85 I owned for about 6 years. I broke my rule I put in pocket vs using the clip. I wasn’t planning on replacing because at age 67, it’s hard to justify the expense on a fixed income. I started carrying my Benchmade Mini Barrage but the size felt huge compared to the UTX85. I ended up reordering this one, I really liked the Hellhound UTX85 but cost was the factor. About EKives, they ship SHIP FAST and it’s FREE, and they are a great private company, I like supporting. One last major thing, it appears Microtech has made the open/close switch easier to operate. My last one was a breast to open.

Best slender OTF on...
This is a replacement, I misplaced/ lost my UTX-85. Wasn’t sure I wanted to replace as they are not inexpensive

Clip...
Bought a UTX-85, would clip it on the pocket on my jeans. Over a few months the clip loosened up to the point it would easily catch on my seat belt, jacket, etc. Eventually it fell out of my pocket unbeknownst to me. So what did I do? I bought another one! I had the same problem with the clip, I called their customer service to see if they’d warranty the clip, nope, $45 to replace the clip! Guess what, I lost that knife also for the same reason. $600 down the drain! I’m now a year in on a cheap China knife that the clip is as tight as ever. No more Microtech!

Overhyped
I've wanted one of these for a really long time. I think I built it up in my head a little too much. This is a nice blade, don't get me wrong, the finish and everything LOOKS nice, but the opening tab rattles like crazy, and the blade has some slight play in it as well. It's just not as "heavy duty" as I thought it would be. I wouldn't want to do much more with this than open packages. I'd be afraid I would break it, or mess up the mechanism somehow. I'm really surprised at how much it rattles. Honestly disappointed in this one, it just sort of feels cheap in my hand. I probably wouldn't purchase another one. All that said, I had a really excellent experience with EKnives. I love that it's a small, family owned shop, and their customer service is top notch. I will most definitely be purchasing more blades from them in the future.

Amazing
Very excited to finally own this knife. Have wanted one since I was young. Very well made, very sharp out of the box and has a great feel in my hand. Compared to other similar OTF’s this one is my favorite. It’s the perfect size for an EDC. I also highly recommend EKnives for all your knife and tactical gear purchases!

Amazing!
This knife is outstanding. It’s the perfect size for an EDC (even with big hands)) and it came razor sharp right out of the box. The blade is impeccably finished and is very well balanced. All in all: 11/10
