ProTech Runt 5 Automatic Folding Knife 1.9" MagnaCut Reverse Tanto DLC R5403

Love this little beauty! Really snaps open and has become my #1 EDC.

What more can I say….its the best of the best! Magnacut steel, the newest “super steel” for blades. DLC (Diamond like Carbide) coating to protect that super “magnacut” blade and handles (aluminum handle scales btw) and ….@ 1.9” is legal to carry auto opening knife in communist Kalifornia. Deep carry pocket clip with flush mounted screws means it glides in and out of pocket with “nothing to see here” depth. Also, being a Protech product, the blade centering is on point. The ball bearing pivot is smooth and the spring powerful and snappy. And that PRICE! It’s almost like they forgot about the magnacut steel and dlc coatings. Really not expensive for what it is, especially when compared to other Runt 5’s without the steel and coatings. And extremely cheap compared to other auto’s in its category. Extremely cheap.

Can’t pull it out of my pocket without someone wanting to check it out. Excellent fit and finish with a very firm snap on opening. It’s a must have.

Great little snappy knife. I didn't realize exactly how small this knife was in general but I've been wanting a small auto for my jeans watch pocket so it worked out perfectly. Blade came perfectly centered and razor sharp. Kind of wish I would've went with a non dlc coated blade. idk if it's the dlc coating or what but it just doesn't seem to cut like a thin blade like this should. Feels like it tears through paper and cardboard rather than cleanly cutting. Either way I'm happy with the knife overall. Received my order within 3 days as usual. The EKnives family is absolutely awesome to deal with.

This is my second Pro-Tech Runt 5, both are flawless. The one I purchased from eknives is burgundy red aluminum w/black DLC blade - beautiful! I no longer see it available on the website so I posted review here. This is my third purchase from eknives with super fast shipping - thanks, you guys & gals rock!
