Improving upon our original QTR-2 design was the main goal with the "f" series. The look of the QTR-2 is as aggressive as it is functional, so upgrading it meant taking it to the extreme. We said goodbye to the liner-lock in favor of a beefier framelock, CNC milled from a billet of titanium. The titanium records a lighter weight onto the spec-sheet , while lending quite a bit to the overall stiffness of the knife and lock system. Those interested in the out-of-pocket auto-open feature using our "Bi-level spine" will find that our blade-detent system has improved to allow for a more effortless "catch" of your pant pocket as its removed quickly. These key features have greatly improved the overall function & feel of our new flagship karambit design.
