The EXO from Reate is a gravity OTF knife. By pinching the handle scales and dropping the frame at an angle, you can easily slide the blade in and out with nothing but gravity. If you haven't guessed it already, this means hours of quality fidgeting! That aside, the build and materials of this knife are Reate standard: simply excellent and endlessly functional. The EXO boasts flawless fit and finish, smooth action, and a razor edge to meet your cutting needs.

Top quality, fantastic precision and...
This is my second purchase of an EXO from Reate. There is a reason why this company has a cult following. Their pricing is not entry-level, but I was so impressed with the quality of my first EXO that I had to buy one for my brother, who was blown away by the design, the materials, the quality, and the action. I don't know of anyone being disappointed by this knife. The biggest negative associated with the EXO is that they are so hard to get, but EKnives was able to get me one and ship it promptly, even during the holiday season.

LIVES UP TO THE...
I had been very curious about this specific knife to find out what what the big deal and why there was such a demand for it. This knife far exceeded my expectations. I truely love this knife and i cant help but fidget with it. It is extremely sharp and well made. It will not open in your pocket unless you actually want it too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND and very happy with the packaging.

Can't stop playing with it...
I will be honest. I hated Reate at first because of their lack of communication skills, but then once I started talking with EKnives and they made me a better informed individual, I actually had an EXO in my hands several months later. I tell you what. The wait WAS WORTH IT. This is a SEXY knife and it can be examined up close or from a distance, but the machining is superb, the cuts are useful and the look and feel is great! Overall I give the knife an 8.6/10 stars. I only give them 8.6 because it would be cool to also see a KRIS blade, and the bayonet blades do NOT have blood grooves on them. These ARE works of art, I get it, They are NOT working knives, but they certainly CAN work and if you used one for your EDC or just day 2 day then you are braver than me. I would feel bad if I got mine scratched. But it is built strong enough to probably take it as well. I LOVE how the blade slides out, but I also noticed that I think ONE of my knives came with the bushing backwards. no worries though, two bolts and that is reversible. Maybe it was setup for a left handed user and not a right handed user. All in all, If you spend $350 on these Micarta handle EXO knives, you WILL NOT have buyers regret.

A Fidget Friendly...
This is an outstanding knife. The design and execution are impeccable, while the fit and finish are amazing. I've had this knife for almost 2 weeks now and I can't stop handling it. It already has wear marks from where I've opened and closed it so much. It's not a very practical knife, but it sure is a lot of fun to play with.
