The Unmei is a Japanese Kwaiken style fixed blade knife that excels in both concealed and everyday carry roles. The RMJ rendition of the Kwaiken style functions well in both urban and rural settings and is a great companion for any adventure.  

The light and thin design makes this a great knife for any slicing needs. The blade has a Graphite Black CeraKote finish for corrosion and glare resistance, and added durability. The beveled and contoured G10 grips feature diagonal texturing for an aggressive but comfortable and secure grip. The Unmei comes with a molded kydex scabbard with universal DCC clip to allow for scout carry (horizontal) and inside the waistband (IWB) vertical carry. The Unmei is MOLLE compatible and can also be attached to any pack, plate carrier or similar gear with PALS webbing.  The scabbard will work with most of the popular clips and mounts like the Discreet Carry Concepts Clip and UltiClip.

    Great Blade for a Great Price!

    I’ve wanted the Unmei for many months now, and unfortunately it wasn’t available at the Texas Blade show back in March. Once the black widow handle color became available I knew I had to pull the trigger! I love everything about this knife from the textured G10 handle, the way the crown of the spine sticks up slightly past the scales, the blade profile with the imprinted lines. It does very well as both a pocket carry and IWB. The sheath holds it secure, but also comes off easily enough with one hand. And of course the blade came razor sharp out of the box. The cherry on top for me was that I was expecting Nitro V steel (which would have still been awesome) but unbeknownst to me it came in MagnaCut! The only minor gripe I have is that I had to change the clip location to the other side of the sheath for a right handed pocket carry, but that was incredibly easy. This will NOT be my last RMJ tactical purchase, or my my last purchase from EKnives! Kudos all around!
