The Mini Slim Pickins is the second in-house design to come from Alliance Designs. When they first set out to create the original Slim Pickins in 2018, the goal was to build a beautiful, well-made and functional folding knife that was also satisfying to fidget with. 

We believe that they accomplished that goal with this latest reiteration, which still checks all those boxes and adds a dash of innovation. This bolstered version of the Mini will come with FatCarbon's exquisite copper infused carbon fiber in the proprietary snakeskin pattern and a brand new auxiliary detent which holds the blade in the closed position even while the buttonlock is depressed. This not only improves the action, but also reduces the chance of accidental deployment. 

The blade still features a deep hollow grind, but this time they went with ELMAX for its impressive durability, high compressive strength, and superior corrosion resistance.
