Ergonomic and carry-able despite the large size.

High Quality and Great action! It took little to no breaking in to have nearly drop shut action for me. (I also have the 417 Fact and that a took a bit of work to dial in the action and I upgraded to larger thumb studs) The disc flipper takes a bit to get used to but the Axis lock works so well it's not really needed. I'm able to flip it open with my index finger pulling just one side of the axis lock back without using my thumb, very smooth. Wish it had a more premium steel but ultimately Benchmade's D2 is more than enough as this is not really an everyday -use- knife. I'm very happy with the unique style and large ergo grip. I carry this often along with a more utilitarian knife like the 940. Additionally I think its fairly priced - for a Benchmade
