The Microtech Socom Delta was the winner for "American Made Knife of the Year" at the 2012 Blade Show so it should be no surprise that it has been a hot seller for Microtech Knives. The Socom Delta is named after the Counterterrorism Unit for the United States Delta Force.

The Microtech Socom Delta features a 5" anodized aluminum handle (initially carbon fiber and G-10) with bead blast finish hardware and detailed contour grooves and curves for excellent ergonomic handling. The handle also comes with a tip up pocket clip and lanyard hole. You can also get the Socom Delta in a zombie green and red splatter as well as Marfione custom editions.

The 4" Elmax clip point blade has a flat grind and comes in serrated and standard blade versions.  The Microtech ceramic bearing system allows for easy one handed opening via dual thumb studs. It comes with an oversized pivot adjustment screw for blade adjustment.

The titanium sub lock frame lock allows for solid blade lockup. Blade finishes include satin, stonewash, bead blast and black. The blade has a serial number, date of manufacture and blade steel stamped on each model.

At 4.9 ounces, the Microtech Socom Delta tactical knife feels great in the hand and pocket and can handle just about any task you throw at it. The contours in the handle make it a great tactical folder in the hand.
