The
Brous Blades VR-71 was Jason's vision of a multi-purpose flipper that could handle everyday used as well as tactical and combat operations. The
4" D2 steel blade is hollow ground with integrated flipper that is one of the smoothest on the market, thanks to a ball bearing pivot system. The
5" carbon fiber scales are contoured and ergonomically sound per typical Jason Brous design. The black G-10 backspacer offersÌ´Ì_standardÌ´Ì_and reverse grip operation quite nice. Skeletonized stainless steel liners allow for Ì´Ì_a lighter weight flipper without sacrificing strength. One handed opening is fast via the flipper or blade cutout if a flipper is not your cup of tea. The pocket clip is right hand tip up carry only.
