    Great Purchase

Posted by James Middleton on Jun 30th 2022

I normally don't leave reviews, but feel compelled to give props to EKnives for great ordering process and total time to my doorstep. I did spend the $5.50 for flat rate, but I was able to use my new customer $25 promo so I ended up paying $260.?? out the door. Anyway, great work on service and painless ordering, same day shipping., new return customer!! The 035, well I am a folder guy mostly function over form to a point and I do like things on the nicer medium range side of knife world. Have been looking at OTFs for sometime now just to experience one, but not ever having another I have no comparison to offer. Though I can say I do like this 035 a lot, weight, materials used, and the slight egros on the bottom. And decently sharp(love the band-aid in box, lmao), I do like the more exotic steels so the Elmax is a huge plus for me, I know it's not magic I just like the out of the box stuff. Hope this doesn't run on to long, but I really wanted to share why now I decided to purchase an OTF. So June 2nd is my birthday which this year is also the evening that I smashed the tip of my right middle finger off !! This required surgery that took place June 14th, some flesh, entire nail, and bone were mashed off !!! Now I have to literally wait for the whole thing to heal regenerate new skin and all. You can imagine using a folder of any kind is not very easy considering I am right handed, very terrible with left hand using knife at best. So looking at new folders coming out I had the light bulb go off and figure hey it would be a good time for an OTF. And yes it's so much better with either hand using my thumb for all movements to open/close. Again sorry for the run on, but I do like this knife a lot and will be a return customer to EKnives. Thanks
