The knife designed for knife enthusiasts by knife enthusiasts. Every aspect of this knife was designed intentionally to be your favorite EDC knife. From the deployment methods, to the ergonomics, to the materials, we are positive that you are going to love carrying and using the Avant.
The Avant was named as such due to our love for German sports car culture and the fact that the bottom of the handle resembles the rear lines of a certain german super wagon that just hit the states for the first time in years.
Each Avant is numbered on the inside of the back spacer.

I picked up one of these at Texas Blade Show. I just can’t say enough good things about it. First off it feels like it weighs less than a bugout, but there is no flex. Titanium liners are beautifully nested in micarta with a substantial titanium backspacer giving this knife excellent rigidity. The blade is a magnificent homage to Koenig, a wonderful design for poking or cutting with a gracefully crowned top edge. Action is butter smooth, easy to open by spidey flick, thumb flick or traditional flipper tab. Fits perfectly in the pocket, flipper tab is unobtrusive and subdued. Wire clip is perfect. Period. One of my favorite EDCs is a Giant Mouse Grand, but this is substantially lighter and the liner lock is better. M390 steel. Beautifully crafted. This has been designed by someone who LOVES knives, has been reviewing them for years, and knows what the absolute best elements of an EDC are. This really might be, without hyperbole, the finest EDC knife ever produced. It simply checks every box. Outstanding.
Lock-rock out of the box, noticeable vertical blade play without any use. Other than that, the fit and finish and Ergos are excellent. But for $350, it should be at least be a solidly locking knife. EK was friendly and shipped fast as always.

Awesome EDC knife. Have been carrying it every day since arrival. Truthfully MY FAVORITE WORK KNIFE YET. FOR Warehouse work. Excellent.
