The McNees Performance Machined Line is a labor of love. McNees wanted to bring a more affordable line of knives to the market but would only do it if he could keep them made in the USA. This is not the easiest or most profitable route but it's important to him as a Maker. All the outsourced work on these is done in the USA and a good portion of the work is done by McNees in his shop at Tuscaloosa, including fitting locks, detents and sharpening. As his company continues to grow, his plan will be to bring more processes in house.
The MAC 2 is an extremely pocket friendly and ergonomic design. With lines that flow open or closed. it sports all the features of a full custom.
This is his newest model...complete with a 3.5" Blade. The people asked and McNees Custom Knives listened!

The knife definitely exceeded my expectations! The service from EKnives is second to none.

Way too tight of fit.
Can barely open the knife. Literally hurts the thumb to open it when you can open it from the front thumbstud, and cannot be opened by back thumbstud.. all my previous mac 2 function beautifully, nice and smooth.. this is ridiculously tight.. reached out to mcnees and was told thats how they make them amd my previous ones were bad/loose.. not impressed with this
