New for 2017 is the first production release of the Microtech black OTF called the Cypher, a collaboration with Deryk Munroe previously only seen in the custom Marfione edition.

The Microtech Cypher 241S-1 is a sleek, full-size OTF automatic knife featuring a smooth Black handle, a 4-inch single-edge (SE) blade, and premium M390 stainless steel. Its all-black configuration gives the Cypher a clean, understated appearance while maintaining the distinctive design language that makes Microtech OTF knives popular with collectors and enthusiasts.

The 4-inch M390 blade features a single-edge configuration and a Black finish, creating a streamlined look that pairs perfectly with the smooth black handle. M390 is a premium stainless steel known for excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance, making it a highly sought-after blade steel for high-end knives.

The smooth handle provides a minimalist exterior without additional texturing or inserts, emphasizing the Cypher’s clean lines and modern profile.
