    It’s a Fine...

Nice pen, with a balanced feel and weight, it has good milling and construction, is smooth-writing, with a nice carbon fiber insert near the nib. The tritium is a little difficult to spot in some less-than-zero-dark conditions, but it can be just made out. The glass breaker seems to like to loosen while in normal usage and taking it out of a pocket while secured by the clip, or if you just happen to be fidgeting with the pen while at your desk at work. The one thing that I have a bit of a gripe about is the action. It could be smoother, with less give or wiggle involved, and I could do without the squeaking that it makes while its bolt action is in service. Otherwise, it is a solid pen and the investment, I feel, is justified. If I were to lose it, I’d most surely replace it with another Kyroh.

    So good it got stolen…

Fantastic pen. It looks amazing, and so well put together. Comfortable in hand and the bolt action is super fidgety. It was so cool that it got taken off my desk less in than a week. Unfortunate, but i can only take it as a compliment to good taste.

    Smaller is...

Posted by John DeMonte on Mar 20th 2023

I have this pen in the full size version and love it. The design, materials and engineering are all top flight. As for refills, many manufacturers and a variety of ink formulations are made to fit the Fisher Space refill profile. The thing is, I mostly wear jeans and shirts without pockets, so this ends up in my front jean pocket. It's a full size pen, and does not have a deep-carry clip (wish both this and their Siphon pen came with a deep carry clip option). Anyway, sitting down tends to push the pen up. The clip is tight, and the ball end does help, but what helps most is the smaller size of this new pen that I just started carrying. That extra inch shorter in length makes a big difference. Same great looks, materials and construction, same ink refills, just a more secure fit in a front jean pocket. Also, lets face it, this is a tactical pen as much as it is a fine writing instrument. A glass breaker at one end, and a bolt action locks the writing end, so open or closed it will pack a solid strike. I have a smaller hand (size medium glove), and there's still plenty of titanium protruding at both ends to deploy. I understand the lure of the longer version if you want to grip it for impact. Yet this smaller version is more than large enough to fit that bill. A solid, great looking, smooth writing, and comfortable-in-the-hand pen to add to your EDC collection...

    Makes Me Want to Write!

Posted by Geoff G. on Aug 6th 2022

So you already own at least one Microtech Knife? Well why not go ahead and own the pen, too! This pen is so freaking cool when I first got it I couldn’t stop writing! I’m always writing notes to my wife (not ashamed either!) and having this pen makes me want to write to her even more, which justifies the price! The bolt action locks in tight and if you can’t get to your knife to break glass don’t worry, just pull your Kyroh out as there’s one there, as well. The carbon fiber grip looks cool as he!! and the tritium insert glows like a light bulb, which adds to the cool factor. There are most definitely other pens out there that cost less, but when it comes to tactical pens this one is my favorite. With all of that said, the Space Pen cartridge is not my top pick, but that’s just me as I prefer fine point pens. Space Pens have the ability to write in practically any situation, like when you’re in space or underwater, which is cool and fits the bill in a tactical environment so it works here. I typically write with a pen that has a star on the end cap, but as of now I always reach for my Kyroh that I got right here on EKnives. EKnives always has the product I’m looking for and the business is owned by an American right next door in Tennessee. If the folks at EKnives made me any happier I swear I wouldn’t know how to handle myself!

    Beautiful Pen!

Posted by Conrad Horvath on Jun 6th 2022

Honestly, I bought this on a whim, but am so impressed with the feel and look of the pen, I may buy another! Yes, it is pricey, but you have something that will attract attention when you pull it out to use and garner great conversations!
