The Microtech Spartan Ultratech handle is making noise in the knife world. The Double Edge Tanto blade is quite appealing and offers a new blade style that could be the norm for MT. The dual action spring loaded OTF that started it all is the smoothest operating out the front knife you will find. It features a 3.4" Spartan (double edge tanto) blade. The Spartan Ultratech has a 5" black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum bottom handle with bronze finished pocket clip, glass breaker and hardware.

Great...
The knife came in the mail very fast, and the knife itself feels great to hold and use for my day-to-day. I sharpened mine a little more than from the out-of-box sharpness, but the knife was already very sharp. The blade is cut very nicely and lines up perfectly, which is impressive considering the complexity of a spartan sword's shape. All in all, this is a 10/10 knife that I would 100% recommend to anyone who has the budget for it. The bronze finish is also the most beautiful thing I’ve seen on a blade.

Not sharp
The action is really good, and the shipping is fast. I am really upset that for more than $300, the knife is not sharp at all.
