As the flagship model of Microtech’s OTF lineup, the Ultratech® sets the standard for OTF technology. Proprietary technology allows the firing spring to be at rest in both the open and closed positions, drastically reducing wear on the internal firing mechanisms. The contoured chassis handle provides a lighter and more ergonomic feel and comes in a smooth, flat finish. The Microtech Ultratech is the first ever OTF (out the front) automatic knife produced by Microtech Knives. It features a 3.4" blade with various blade finishes and styles. The Ultratech features a 5" anodized 6061-T6 aluminum smooth handle with pocket clip, glass breaker and stainless steel hardware. Dual action thumb slide for automatic deployment and retraction.

    A Stellar EDC

This was the my first Microtech and first time buying from eKnives. I am happy on both counts. I do like the dagger but this bayonet mount is excellent. This is the knife I most often take with me. Not too big, but big enough to get the job done. The trigger is strong but not difficult and fires with authority. Overall the tan body and black blade look great together. And dealing with eKnives is so easy. Both Clay and Courtney run a first class operation.

The action on this U/T is very nice. There’s no stickiness in either the fire or retract modes. This is my first bayonet grind and it is great. Actually like it better than the dagger. And the tan handle with the black blade looks great. And the guy at eKnives is the BEST to deal with - knowledgable and friendly.
