I absolutely love the Ultratech on its own, it’s just a perfect size to carry for most applications. The tri grip just makes it even better, i have no worries of my hand sliding up the blade, or the knife coming out of my hand. The grey cerekote specifically feels almost like it even adds a little bit of switch grip, it’s a rougher in the track at first but it will smooth out. And the Spartan blade is just awesome, it looks amazing and it has a surgical needle sharp tip. I really hope that Microtech will bring back tri grip for EK on these gen III knives, because it is phenomenal!

This knife, as mentioned here, is super bad ass. The grip on the handle feels great in the hand and the blade feels like a mini sword. The blade mechanism came a little tough, but after some Rem oil it’s flawless. Great service from EKnives too. Will definitely be buying again soon

The balance of weight is in my opinion the best part and the look of it is eye captivating, it’s a great tool for CUTTING and piercing . Great feel in the hand doesn’t slip . The Aesthetic makes me proud to own it .And as a bonus the customer service is truly professional and personal. Unbeatable, making sure the customer is getting what they paid for and receiving it.

The milled body adds great grip to an already classic knife.

Typical Microtech high quality. Fires hard with medium stiff spring. The Tri grip handle is much more aggressive than expected, which is just what I wanted, but just fyi and be advised it is very aggressive. This should be just about slip proof even with sweaty hands, the trade-off being that it could be rough on hands and pockets with frequent use. There is a smooth patch where the clip tip touches the handle which will mitigate pocket wear a bit. The Tri grip is a very cool EK exclusive. Love the Spartan blade.
