Who said size doesn't matter? The Microtech UTX-70 is one of the smallest OTF (out the front) automatics on the market. At 70% the size of the Ultratech, Microtech's first ever OTF knife, the UTX-70 has the same simplistic design and internal spring makeup. The spring remains "at rest" until the blade is deployed ensuring it fires effectively every time. The black anodized aluminum handle measures just over 3 inches long and features black tactical hardware, pocket clip and auto firing slide switch on the side. The double action thumb slide switch deploys and retracts the OTF rapidly with one push making it a perfect EDC OTF knife. The Microtech UTX-70 OTF auto features a 2.4" Tanto standard blade with a jade g10 top handle and black anodized bottom finish. The UTX 70 auto is perfect sized for the hand and pocket.

I gave it 3 stars because it is my fault for not doing more research on this. It is so tiny I cannot think of a practical use outside of a letter opener... so I now have an expensive letter opener on my desk lol. Oh well.

Microtech’s UTX-70
Small enough to conveniently carry in anything. Big enough to handle it. Fires hard and smooth. Great addition to the collection.

Jade...
First time with a OTF knife. Has become my replacement for a fidget spinner and letter opener. Had some misfires opening, so I oiled it per the instructions found on Youtube. Immediately after still misfired on occasion, but after a day, seems to work properly again. Other comment is do not take literally the Jade Green description. The handle seems to be a plastic with a slight green tint, slightly transparent so you can see a bit of the internals of the knife. I am overall happy with the purchase, but the price does seem a bit steep for the handle material offered.
