Who said size doesn't matter? The Microtech UTX-70 is one of the smallest OTF (out the front) automatics on the market. At 70% the size of the Ultratech, Microtech's first ever OTF knife, the UTX-70 has the same simplistic design and internal spring makeup. The spring remains "at rest" until the blade is deployed ensuring it fires effectively every time. The OD Green anodized aluminum handle measures just over 3 inches long and features bead blast hardware, pocket clip and auto firing slide switch on the side. The slide switch deploys and retracts the OTF rapidly with one push making it a perfect EDC OTF knife. The Microtech UTX-70 OTF auto features a 2.4" single edge drop point standard blade with a black finish. The UTX 70 auto is perfect sized for the hand and pocket.

    Very pleased with this purchase, I had purchased an off brand cheaper otf before this one and I have to say the Microtech was well worth the money. Only downside was it turned out to be a bit smaller than I expected but actually made it nicer as an edc with the pocket clip. Will definitely be purchasing the UTX-85 from Eknives, the service was excellent and the shipping was quick.
