As the title says, this was my first Hinderer - in fact, I was lucky to be able to purchase two of these during the last drop. The reason being I wanted to take the Red scale from the working finish Eclipse and swap it onto the Battle Black of this one. I am not the best at disassembling but it was rather easy and intuitive on the Hinderer and I didn’t even need the Armorers tool that he sells. In any event, the knife itself is fantastic in hand and very low profile for a larger knife. It snaps out beautifully and I’ve found the spearpoint to be plenty useful - and slicey - for my daily pocket knives needs. And, as always, EKnives and their crew kick ass and are so helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to grab another one of these knives if they ever became available again.
