The Unmei is a Japanese Kwaiken style fixed blade knife that excels in both concealed and everyday carry roles. The RMJ rendition of the Kwaiken style functions well in both urban and rural settings and is a great companion for any adventure.
Made from .130'' thick Nitro V stainless steel, the Unmei weighs in at 3.5 ounces.
The light and thin design makes this a great knife for any slicing needs. The blade has a Tungsten Cerakote finish for corrosion and glare resistance, and added durability. The beveled and contoured G10 grips feature diagonal texturing for an aggressive but comfortable and secure grip. The Unmei comes with a molded kydex scabbard including universal DCC Clip to allow for scout carry (horizontal) and inside the waistband (IWB) vertical carry. The Unmei is MOLLE compatible and can also be attached to any pack, plate carrier or similar gear with PALS webbing. The scabbard will work with most of the popular clips and mounts like the Discreet Carry Concepts Clip and UltiClip.

A Review for the RMJ Unmei and EKnives.
I have an RMJ tomahawk that I have had for 15+ years and it is an absolute tank. I have been fantasizing about the Unmei for a long time and when I decided to finally pull the trigger, they were out of stock everywhere but EKnives. This was my first time using EK so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. Easy ordering, fast shipping, and an in stock knife that no one else had. That said, the Unmei is exactly what you would expect from a company with the reputation of RMJ. Perfect grind, fit and finish, and it fits in the had perfectly. I am looking at the RMJ Sparrow next, and will order from EK for sure. Enjoy!
