A product of the Crucible Particle Metallurgy (CPM) manufacturing process, this high-performance tool steel offers an exceptionally fine microstructure and uniform alloy distribution. In knife blades, these qualities translate to extreme toughness and exceptional edge retention. The blade is housed in a handle featuring smooth brown canvas Micarta scales supported by full stainless steel liners. Joined by a stainless steel backspacer, the liners form the foundation of the knifes high-strength Compression Lock mechanism and anchor its broad-based pocket clip, which is reversible for left- or right-side tip-up carry.
