South American dentist Des Horn began the art of knife making in the 1960's in Cape Town, South Africa. After a meeting with Bo Randall of Randall's knives, Des began selling both in and outside his home country with primarily fixed blade knives. He would later move onto folding knives and thus now has collaborated with Spyderco for this very sleek folder aptly named the Des Horn Folder. The uniquely designed Spyderco Des Horn Folder's 3 inch CPM S30V blade is a mix of a Spear Point and Wharncliffe shape with a hollow grind flat ground blade that tapers to a needle fine point. The black G-10 handle has furrows and tapers down to mimic the shape of the blade. The Michael Walker liner lock keeps the blade secure and a wire pocket clip keeps the knife in tip down right hand carry at all times.
