The Spyderco Manix 2 translucent blue lightweight knife features a flat ground CTS-BD1 stainless steel blade with a leaf shaped profile that flows into the handle, with a near seamless transition making the knife extremely light.

Featuring a translucent blue FRCP (Fiberglass Reinforced Co-Polymer) handle, this knife offers excellent durability while keeping overall weight low for comfortable everyday carry. The ergonomic handle shape and textured grip provide secure control during use, while the distinctive blue color adds a unique appearance to this popular Spyderco design.

The 3.4-inch CTS-BD1 stainless steel drop point blade features a satin finish and delivers a balanced combination of edge retention, corrosion resistance, toughness, and easy maintenance. CTS-BD1 is a reliable stainless steel choice for everyday cutting tasks, offering consistent performance for users who value practicality and dependability. The versatile drop point blade profile provides excellent slicing ability and a strong, controllable tip.

    My #1 Go-To Backpacking Blade for 10+...

    Posted by D-Rock on May 13th 2024

Ever since the Manix 2 Lightweight came out (some 12 years ago) it's been my #1 go-to backpacking blade. If you want to know why, just watch the YouTube review titled "Spyderco Manix 2: To The Elevens," by Nutnfancy. He nails it -- 11 out of 10, baby. And I love it even more now that Spyderco has finally upgraded from pinned-construction to screw-together construction. This new translucent blue version is for my collection. I now carry the yellow "Salt" version (with MagnaCut) on trail, replacing my well used original translucent blue version.
