Brand Spotlight: D Rocket Designs

According to  D Rocket Designs, they "bring creative designs from the edge of the milky way." Founded by Darriel Caston, he aimed to create an honorable business that would stand the test of time. Soon after he entered the knife scene, he won "Best New Maker" at the Oregon Knife Show and the Bay Area Knife Show.

Darriel was determined to put his own spin on knife and pen design. He wanted to create something unique that hadn't been done before, but he also aimed to educate and mentor those around him. He blended old techniques with new cutting edge technology - old designs with a twist of the future. D Rocket Designs is focused on blending the past, present, and the future to create something truly timeless. 

"Shamsher" Paw Claw

The D Rocket Designs  "Shamsher" Paw Claw is a sleek, California legal, automatic knife. At just 4.875" overall, it includes a 2" Bohler M390, drop point satin blade and a 2.8" brown handle. Weighting just 2.5 ounces, this is an ideal EDC knife. 

Oval Shorty Bolt Action Pen

The  Oval Shorty Bolt Action Pen is version 2 of the Bolt Pen line. The previous Bolt Pen had a protruding bolt that would get stuck on your pants or shirt, or they would likely snag on something as you pulled it out of your bag. By making the pen oval, they were able to keep the bolt flushed with the body of the pen and only in the extended position would the bolt be slightly higher than the frame of the pen body. This slightly raised position of the bolt would allow easy purchase when retracting the writing point. Sleek and unobtrusive, this pen is just over 5" long with a deep pocket titanium clip.
