Great...
I absolutely love this knife. This thing is smooth as silk. I also like the fact that you can deploy it different ways. You can use it as a slipjoint style when deploying or as front flipper. So if you hand it to a non knife person they can deploy it no problem. Plus the EKNIVES exclusive which is this baby right here looks amazing, and you can only buy it here. Trust me you will love it.

Weird
I love Peña knives. But!, this knife came with some weird looking webbing on the blade! It’s weird because it’s sealed but when I opened it I couldn’t believe what I saw. I hate going through the hassle of returning things, so I buffer out as much of it as I could with oil. It looked decent now but feel let down for a 200+ knife. I’ve never had this problem before with other Pena knives.

I love it
This is my fourth Pena X-series knife, and I couldn't resist the denim micarta version. As with the others, the quality is excellent - opens/closes smoothly, the blade is centered and well-ground, and it's the perfect size for me. I can barely feel the transition from micarta to titanium. and the micarta gives the perfect amount of smooth grippiness. To my eye it's more a teal/black than blue, and the white threads in the denim give it a cool textured look.

Sub par Quality
EKnives dud a great job on fast shipping and customer service. The knife from Pena was disappointed. There were spider web scratches on both sides of the blade and the micarta scales were rough and looked unfinished at the edges against the liners. Expect a lot better for this price point. Returned knife.

Perfect twist on an old classic
Flawless action, beautiful fit and finish. What is not to love. The only thing that would make this knife better is if it came with a leather slip.
