Spartan Blades Zelos Automatic Folding Knife 3.25" Drop Point Black

The Spartan Zelos lives up to its name. The fit and finish of the DLC black coat is flawless. The 3.25" blade will handle just about anything you need done with an EDC and I'm sure the CPM S45VN blade steel will hold it's edge for a long while of hard use. The blade fires well and locks up with no backlash, thanks Spartan.The only ding on this knife that kept it from 5 star is the missing jumping on spine of blade and maybe some on handle for those of us with larger fingers. As always thanks to the folks at EKnives for getting it here fast.

It is well made and feels good to hold. The blade steel is awesome, but it didn’t come very sharp, I probably spent an hour getting the angle down (S45V is very hard to work) after I finished it is impressive in how it cuts. The blade coating is starting to show signs of wear after being in my pocket for a week. It could also use some texture or something for a better grip. It doesn’t fire like a Protech or a LUDT, but it’s pretty good. A solid knife that I would describe as a professional tool, not a show off piece. While it is a good knife, there are better options for the money.

A great, "no fool around" automatic knife. Having a robust spine, great steel (s45vn), and a confident deployment mechanism which the operator can lock in either the open or closed positions. A good, solid knife for your collection
