Each strip is comprised of one Damascus packet that is hand forged then twisted fifteen times. The Boker Swiss Dagger's historical blade shape is fire welded and forged via 4 twisted packets. Only noble people of the highest class in the Middle Ages were privy to blades made from this type of Damascus as it was the highest of smithing art. The forging process that goes into this dagger can only be accomplished by a handful of Damascus forgers.
